Did You Know:
1. Snowmobiles registered out of state must have a WI trail pass to ride on any trails in WI. Trail passes can be purchased from anyone who sells hunting/fishing licenses or on-line at www.dnr.state.wi.us.

2. Any person who is born on or after 1 January 1985, must have completed and received a snowmobile safety certificate in order to operate a snowmobile in Wisconsin. Yes, that means even if you are 20 years old, you have to have the certificate.

3. Dusk to Dawn: Speed limit is 55 mph

New Requirement: All WI Recreational Safety Students are required to obtain a WI DNR Customer ID Number before the completion of any Recreational Safety Class and will also be required to provide that WI DNR Customer ID Number along with students personal information to the instructor.  You can obtain a WI DNR Customer ID Number 7AM to 10PM by calling the WI DNR Customer Service at 1-888-936-7463 or you can visit a WI DNR Service Center during their regular scheduled hours.
